SSI Dive Control Specialist
Continue your professional diving career and become an SSI Dive Control Specialist with Desert Divers! The program takes a minimum of 1-2 weeks, provided the dives are already logged and the other prerequisites are met.

Prerequisites:
SSI Divemaster or equivalent
Fit-to-dive medical and CPR, First Aid, O2 provider certification
60 logged dives

Course content of DiveCon:
Academic development on SSI Philosophy, standards and role model behavior
Pool skill in demonstration quality, advanced rescue training, watermanship evaluation, pool presentation training
Open Water training on skill evaluation, group control and safety
Development of briefing and debriefings

Included in the DiveCon class:

pool and classroom training
rental tanks & weights
Lake Pleasant trip (4 OW dives)
