TSSI Diveguide & Divemaster
Start your professional diving career and become an SSI Diveleader with Desert Divers! The program takes several weeks, provided the dives are already logged and the other prerequisites are met.

Prerequisites:
SSI Open Water Diver or equivalent
Fit-to-dive medical and CPR, First Aid, O2 provider certification
Specialty certifications: Science of Diving, Stress & Rescue, Navigation, Night&LV, Deep
50 logged dives

Course content of Diveguide:
Academic development on SSI Philosophy, standards and role model behavior
Pool skill sessions, advanced rescue training, waterman ship evaluation
Open Water training on skills, group control and safety
Development of briefing and guiding skills
Specialty diving (Deep&Night&LV) workshop

Included in the Diveguide class:
pool and classroom training
rental tanks & weights

Excluded: Open Water dives (3-5)

Additional equipment needed:

Full set of professional level scuba gear
