SSI FREEDIVING L2 Class

This program provides you with the training and knowledge required to safely freedive with a buddy in open water environments to depths of 100 feet. You will earn the SSI Level 2 Freediving certification after completing this program and the necessary OW dives.

Minimum Age:15
Certification Prerequisites: Must be able to swim
be certified Freediving Level 1
at least 6 logged freediving sessions.
Academic Sessions: Online training
Pool/Confined Water Sessions: 2+
Open Water Dives: 4+
Maximum Training Depth: 30 meters / 100 feet
Suggested Duration: 24 - 30 hours

Complete orientation session and paperwork. Bring completed Review Questions Chapter 1-3. Be prepared to discuss video and Study Guides.

Classroom II

Wed Mar 13

6:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Working on second half of Freediving Academics. Bring completed Review Questions Chapter 4-6. We will be finishing with a small final exam.

At Saguaro Aquatics Pool , 2045 W Omar Drive (Ina/La Cholla). Please bring your freediving equipment, swimsuit, sunscreen, water, and towel. Weights will be at the pool. We will be focusing on proper stretching, correct weighting, underwater posture, dynamic apnea, and duck-dive technique.
